Beginning Band & Orchestra Instrument Fitting
Beginning Band or Beginning Orchestra is for students with little or no musical training on a chosen instrument. To participate in Beginning Band or Beginning Orchestra, students must be at least 9 years old (8 years old for Beginning Orchestra) and attend a Music Guidance Survey/Instrument Fitting. We have three sessions in Grand Rapids (June 29, July 13, and August 10) and three in Kalamzoo (June 24, July 22, and August 12).

The 2011-12 catalog is available here or via the menu item under the banner photo. If you don’t need a printed copy, you can save us some printing and postage costs by sending email to wmhfa@charter.net with the subject line “SAVE THE POSTAGE” and we’ll remove you from our catalog mailing list.

The 2011-12 Season is just around the corner
The Marching Band season is in full swing, and we’re scheduling auditions for next year. September will be here before you know it.
